Kyoto (京都) has attractions spread across the city in every direction. Visiting too many different areas in one day can take up considerable travel time. Starting from Kyoto Station, this page divides itineraries into five directions to help you choose areas before looking at transport and attractions. Return to the Kansai travel guide.
