Kyushu domestic flights: island routes and Tokyo connections

Compare officially listed flights to Goto, Iki, Tsushima and Amakusa, plus Solaseed Air services from Tokyo Haneda to Kyushu, with schedule and weather cautions.

Most travel between Kyushu prefectures is by rail and bus, but official sources list flights to the Goto Islands, Iki, Tsushima, and Amakusa. There are also direct flights from Tokyo to prefectures across Kyushu. This article compiles routes from three official pages; it is not a complete timetable of every flight in Kyushu. Domestic routes from Nagasaki Airport

The official route map lists nine domestic destinations:

  • Tokyo (Haneda) and Tokyo (Narita)
  • Osaka (Itami), Osaka (Kansai), and Kobe
  • Nagoya (Chubu)
  • Islands: Goto Fukue, Iki, and Tsushima

The route map does not specify the airline operating each destination or the number of flights. The Goto Islands can also be reached by boat; see Kyushu ferries.

Amakusa Airlines: Fukuoka – Amakusa – Kumamoto

The official flight status page (updated at 19:41 on 28 October 2026) lists:

  • The page shows flight status for that day. The airline says it updates only when delays reach 15 minutes or more, so “normal operations” does not guarantee an on-time flight
  • This is a snapshot of the day’s status, not a fixed year-round timetable. Check the airline’s schedule before departure

Solaseed Air: Tokyo Haneda to Kyushu

The official page (information as of 20 August 2026) lists:

  • Miyazaki and Kagoshima also have routes from other airports: Naha and Nagoya (Chubu) connect to Miyazaki, Naha connects to Kagoshima, and Naha also has flights to Fukuoka
