Tokyo has two airports, Haneda and Narita, with several ways to reach central Tokyo. The “best” option depends on which station is near your hotel. This article compares official information by accommodation location first, then transport type. Fares and times not listed in official information are omitted. For accommodation areas, see Where to stay in Tokyo; return to the Tokyo travel guide.

  • Haneda: Keikyu Line and Tokyo Monorail. Official estimated journeys: Shinagawa about 15 minutes, Hamamatsucho 20 minutes, Tokyo Station 30 minutes, Ueno and Asakusa 40 minutes, Shibuya 45 minutes, and Shinjuku 50 minutes.

Skyliner fares: two official pages differ

The same operator, Keisei Electric Railway, published the following different figures on two official pages as of 2026-10-28. Both are presented here without choosing between them:

Fare table 2,470 yen; 2,465 yen when using a transport IC card at the gate Child figures are shown in parentheses without a column label, so this article does not quote them
Frequently asked questions 2,580 yen Official breakdown: base fare 1,280 yen plus Skyliner limited express ticket 1,300 yen; the difference may relate to different page update dates, but neither page states an effective date

When purchasing, use the price displayed by the station ticket machine or Keisei’s official website.
